Individual and couples counseling
I am an experienced Counseling Psychologist and I offer counseling and psychotherapy to a wide variety of individuals and couples. My approach to therapy is integrative and collaborative and I embrace the unique aspects of each person. I offer a range of interventions drawn from the traditions of Humanistic, Psychoanalytic-Psychodynamic, Narrative, Cognitive-Behavioral, Social Justice, and Mindfulness-based techniques. I am also a certified Level 2 PACT couples therapist. As your therapist, I will work with you to find an approach that best suits your goals and personal style. As part of the process, I encourage continual feedback so that the work can stay focused on what is most meaningful for you. The key ingredient of a good therapeutic outcome, according to research on evidence-based therapy and guidelines for best practice, is the therapeutic relationship. I am committed to providing a compassionate listening space where you are invited to reflect upon and explore yourself, your deepest challenges and gifts. Through listening, reflecting, and shared inquiry, I aim to help you become more aware of your patterns so that you may become clear and skillful about making meaningful and life-giving choices. Supervision/consultation group for therapists I have an ongoing supervision/consultation group for therapists. The group is designed for therapists who want to explore practical and creative approaches to the relational dynamics in their work and lives. It is also a place to build community with other professionals. This online and ongoing group takes place every other Friday from 9:30-11am (mountain time). |
